Chicken Semen Extender - 2.5ml ampoule

The Beltsville Poultry Semen Extender II, containing gentamicin, maintains acceptable fertility of the sperm for up to six hours when used as directed. The temperature of the extender should be at 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C) before being mixed with the semen.  Recommended extension is 1 to 1.

Concentrated Semen Extenders - Antibiotics Only

Antibiotics Only - tylosin tartrate, gentamicin sulphate, lincomycin, and spectinomycin.  

When antibiotic is combined with neat semen and extender (One vial for the TWO-STEP™ or two vials for the ONE-STEP™ Extender), a CSS approved extender is produced.

Concentrated Semen Extenders - One Step™

For bovine and caprine semen: CSS approved extender.

ONE-STEP™ is a concentrated stock solution of distilled sterile water containing tris buffer, citric acid, fructose, and glycerol. Water and egg yolk must be added prior to the addition of semen. All contents combined will produce 1,000 ml of extender.

Concentrated Semen Extenders - Two Step™

CSS approved extender for the two-step processing of bovine and caprine semen. 

There are two bottles of concentrated solution containing distilled sterile water, tris buffer, citric acid and fructose. One bottle also contains glycerol. Water and egg yolk must be added prior to the addition of semen. 

All contents combined produce 1,000 ml of extender.
